Sub-Saharan Africa boasts a spectacular landscape. Amazing sand dune formations, contrasted by the rocky terrain of the sun baked soil. Likewise its people are diverse and beautiful!  But their lives have been adversely affected as a result of years of political and religious and conflict. More than anything we want to see the quality of their lives improve; illiteracy and poverty eradicated.   Christian values are the bedrock of JIL Foundation International.  It was the clear voice of God that directed the creation of our organization.  So in 2011 out of obedience to God’s voice and our love for the people of sub-Saharan Africa our company was birthed.  We believe education is the key to poverty eradication so it is the foundation of our programs.  Our first school , The English Language and Computer Technology Center in Nouakchott, Mauritania has already impacted the lives of many who have attended, completed their exams and gone on to college and careers.   We are excited about the future of JIL Foundation International.  We will be operating in four countries: Mauritania, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Niger. Our primary focus will be the rural areas and tribal communities.  Our programs are designed to educate and empower people, close the gender disparity gap while developing entrepreneurs and support systems.

Welcome to JIL Foundation’s home online. Please join us as we develop JIL Foundation International. An organization founded to help eradicate poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa. The continent of Africa is rich in minerals and natural resources. It is home to oil and gas reserves, platinum, gold, timber and diamonds. Despite these facts in many African countries a generational cycle of poverty continues, fueled by illiteracy, gender disparity, and internal conflicts. This gives rise to poor health, poor living conditions and less than favorable quality of life. JIL Foundation International’s vision is to see poverty in Sub Saharan Africa eradicated. We will provide programs to empower develop and educate the unreached and underserved people of Africa. Our goal is to aid in eradicating poverty through education in the areas of technology, personal healthcare and agriculture. We aim to develop the African people into leaders and entrepreneurs, producing citizens who are self employed and can then employ others; ultimately contributing to the development of their communities, villages, cities and countries. We will keep on ways you can join us in our mission. Meanwhile stay connected to us here and on Twitter.
